Ich Liebe Morrissey

Well, we've recently returned from our holiday trip to the other coast, and what did we find upon our return? Lots of stuff about Morrissey. And we're not talking about the NME racism kerfuffle (if you must, the interview can be read here: page 1, page 2, and page 3), or the incredible Hammerstein Ballroom show we saw.

Indeed, of far more importance than both of these things are the greatest Moz covers since The Ukrainians' Pisni Iz The Smiths EP. Some wonderfully odd German called Perrecy has seen fit to record many of the Morrissey classics accompanied by ukulele and occasional drum machine. The results are brilliant, and can be heard on his Myspace page, including fantastic renditions of Dieser Charmante Mann and Bitte Bitte Bitte.
