Two covers, of a questionable sort.
Did you miss me? Sorry I've been gone (again). I will be back very soon with full ANTM coverage and all my little thoughts about this year's Coachella. In the meantime, here are two new cover songs to keep you either occupied or happy, but probably not both. One is kinda funny and involves Ricky Wilson rapping, the other is kinda awful and involves that We Are Scientists guy singing nonsense words. These covers should never have existed. But they do, so why don't you listen to them?

we are scientists are pure shit. how did they get so popular?
Umm... why the hatin? I've been listening to We Are Scientists for four years, since before the scene everyone claims they're so copying and typical of even began, or at least since before it got so widespread.
Seriously, though, what's bad about tWAS?
the thing about we are scientists is that everything about them is really quite good, except their music. they're witty, not wholly unattractive, and don't come off as stupid. however, the music is dull, perhaps, even beyond dull. no amount of jokes or amusing quips can make up for the fact that the music is uninteresting and not at all good. when i saw them, i was bored to tears and nearly put to sleep. though they were funny and cute, listening to them was awful. it's not that they sound like everyone else around them, which wouldn't even be so much of a problem since the bands they are friends with and tour with are quite good, but more so that they sound so dull and make music that is so awfully boring. perhaps, i was a bit too harsh in my previous post. as people, they seem quite alright and are probably great fellows, but their music really is all that bad.
Hmm... that's odd. I really enjoy the music and see nothing dull about it. It's all upbeat and catchy. Oh wells... you can't get everyone to like 'em.
