Bromheads Jacket Aren't Famous
So, I've been out of town for some time, distracted and without proper computer time, and I'm feeling incredibly out of touch. I'm only starting to catch up on everything now. You'll have to forgive me if things are a couple of weeks out of date during this distressing period. But enough about me.

I was shocked (shocked!) hearing Bromheads Jacket's recent single "What If's + Maybes" on the OC recently. I'm assuming that the producers got annoyed that Arctic Monkeys keep turning them down (they've done that three times so far, and good for them), so they decided to pick another of the fine bands that have been blossoming from Sheffield's fertile (um...) steel mills. As I said above, Bromheads Jacket aren't famous yet, so it's a perfect time for them to rework The Streets' silly, silly new single "When You Wasn't Famous."
Like UTFO's "Roxanne, Roxanne," Mike Skinner's latest is practically begging for an answer record. "When You Wasn't Famous" is so relentlessly self-aggrandizing that it's an easy target for mockery (it's like mocking fish in a barrel, you know). It's got two that I know about, the Professor Green remix (that Pitchfork talks about), and the brilliant Bromheads Jacket one. I'll let the song speak for itself, but if you've heard the band before you'll know what to expect. And, with lines like this ("A dream I had when I was twelve, I shagged Alanis Morrisette"), how can you go wrong?
I'm having some weird server problems, so this You Send It link will have to do for now until this gets sorted out. Sorry.
UPDATE: It's been fixed, so no more You Send It.

I'm worried about you.
Between The OC and ANTM...are these programs you choose to watch on your own accord?
